1. What do veneers cost?

Cosmetic dentistry can be surprisingly expensive. Porcelain Veneers and Lumineers cost anywhere from $1,000 - $1,300 per tooth depending on your case.

We try to keep our fees competitive, but we also want to provide our patients with the best outcome we possibly can and that sometimes costs more. At Dentalways we use only the best lab and materials for all our cosmetic cases because we believe that you should get what you pay for. But rest assured, we will give the smile of your dreams at the lowest possible price.

2. Will I have pain or sensitivity during the procedure or after I get my veneers?

To help alleviate the pain, Dentalways offers sedation dentistry if you would like to be sedated for the preparation of your veneers. Tooth sensitivity can be a common side effect, but at Dentalways we use desensitizing materials to help prevent this.

3. Will my veneers pop off?

Your veneers will be bonded (adhered) to your natural tooth structure, so the chances of them “popping off” is greatly reduced. Dentalways can also fabricate a custom night guard for you to help prevent any from coming off.

4. Will my veneers change color over time?

As they are used and depending on your eating and drinking habits, veneers can stain over time, especially if you’re an avid coffee or red wine drinker. But, that doesn’t mean they won’t look good after 10-15 years as they can be cleaned and polished! In addition, you can pick a bleach (whiter) shade at the beginning and that way even if you abuse your veneers your teeth will still be whiter down the road than they probably are now.

At Dentalways, we also use a non-color changing bonding resin to help prevent long-term color changes. This is very important, because if not used your veneers will actually get yellowish or brownish underneath and you can’t even polish that off!

5. How long will my veneers last?

Veneers last a long time, anywhere from 10 - 30 years. How long they last will depend on your oral hygiene at home and coming in for regularly scheduled dental hygiene (cleaning) appointments.
